corrient.es is a space that seeks to magnify the visibility of Latin American moving images online. It is home to Latin American artists who are looking to expand the form and content of nonfiction cinema. The site’s objective is to connect artists with spectators and communities with histories. Every month a film is shown and put in conversation with a commissioned text. Through collaboration and interdisciplinary conversations we center, create, and make available intergenerational, international and diverse conversations around film and around the relevant subjects explored in them. The conversations are not aimed to be about the films, but rather with the films.

The monthly writing and artists will become incorporated into a, hopefully, ever-growing map of Latin American moving images. This project is being developed in the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola.
