    ex. let the dream dissolve in the water, inside the water, inside the dream.

  3. To decrease the strength or intensity of something, especially a color or light.

    ex. using the video to dilute the images.

  4. To distribute command, responsibilities, or power among several people.

    ex. To collaborate, speak, dilute the author's notion, create constellations.

  5. To destroy or make a thing disappear, especially something immaterial.

    ex. dilute the limits of the territory, travel with the mind, be everywhere at once.

Diluido layers the daytime activity of bathing with the nighttime activity of dreaming. The filmmaker’s photographic archive re-imagines the bathroom space, pouring into it dreamlike thought structures through encounters with water and darkness. The casual meaning of daytime life is diluted in the aquatic experience of the shower, where the presentation of textures, landscapes, and objects are arranged in a loose, ungraspable–liquid–and evocative way.

This edition is a constellation of references that frame Isabella's video in the same way that her images are connected: through chance. The same chance that is found when trying to follow the thread of a conversation between friends; where the arguments exchange their voices, intermingling them or even anticipating them as if there was a telepathic connection. The states of water and its origins: [1] Its agency, which always involves leaving a trace. [2] Liquid temporality, watered in textures. [3] Listening like vision. [4] The absence of limits. [5]

Isabella Londoño is a Colombian artist born in Barrancabermeja in 1995. She holds a bachelor in arts with an emphasis in painting and a minor in cinema, video, and animation from the Universidad de los Andes. Currently, she is doing a Master in Audiovisual Creation at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. With her plastic and audiovisual work, she seeks to think poetically and critically about bodily expressions as a place where problems related to the sphere of the personal and the political manifest themselves.


Sara Vera’s life and work are one and the same, and they revolve around communication. Her experience branches out in different directions and always reaches collaboration across different disciplines. She has led communication projects for Horizontal, an interdisciplinary studio that deals with design and social justice issues, and has also directed communications for the Casas Riegner Gallery in Bogotá. She has ventured into independent projects such as the magazine Revistã, and has pushed the limits of communication by proposing digital projects that stem from her obsession with nails and manicures. She holds a BFA with an emphasis on media from the Universidad de Los Andes and has participated in group exhibitions such as Que no Cunda el Pánico (¿hay otras maneras?) at Espacio Odeon in Bogotá.
